Edgard is a graduate of The Institute of Culinary Education in NewYork City (2008 Award of Excellence from the International Association of Culinary Professionals) where he received his degree in Baking & Pastry Arts. He has worked with cake designer Elisa Strauss (Confetti Cakes) and studied with world renowned cake and sugar artist Toba Garrett and Sugar Hall of Fame inductee Betty Van Nostrand.
Chef Edgard is no stranger to cakes. He grew up helping his mother mix cakes since a very young age. Edgard comes to Cake Design as a continuation of a very creative life, after spending many years in Show Business as a professional dancer, singer and actor on Broadway.
