These two grooms wanted a clean, modern square tiered cake and they wanted to include their wedding bands as a topper. A vanilla cake with 2 fillings: vanilla bean buttercream and pistachio buttercream. White fondant with fondant ribbons. The Tiffany wedding bands were handcrafted from sugar paste, painted with edible silver.
Chris & Joe's Wedding Cake
My client wanted a Mickey themed wedding cake for a same sex wedding. The 2 grooms were coming from Florida to New York to get married. They work for Disney, that's why the Mickey theme. My client as well as his friends were super satisfied. The 3 tiers were designed to be 3 different heights; a 1st tier 10"x 4", middle tier 8"x 2 1/2" and the top tier is comprised of two 6"x 3" to make it a 6" high tier. This look gives it a very modern and slick look.
Cascade of Flowers
Five tier of alternating Round and Petal shape wedding cake. Round tiers are coated with crystal sugar and Petal tiers are pearlized. A cascade of handcrafted sugar-paste flowers, foliage and loop bows make this cake beautiful, unique and grand! Serves 110 (without the topper). Flowers include: Roses and buds, Sweet Peas, Tulips, Purple Calla Lilies, Stephanotis, Lenten or Winter Roses and Blue Hydrangeas.
Hexagonal Peonies & Butterflies
Mint green fondant hexagonal wedding cake. Topped with white and pink sugar paste Peonies and graphic butterflies climbing up the side of the cake. The appliqués symbolize fern. This cake has an art deco and asian feel to it.
Indian Wedding Cake
Wedding cake with Round and Petal shape tiers on the colors of the bride's traditional Lehenga. Sugar paste Roses and decorations that mimic the designs on the bride's dress decorate the cake.
Chocolate on Chocolate
Wedding cake with square tiers alternated with separators. Chocolate Roses and Chocolate Calla Lilies as well as white chocolate ribbon, bow and brooch decorate the tiers. Dramatic!
Ivory fondant covers this 3 tier wedding cake as well as the double base. Handcrafted sugar-paste Ranunculus top the cake. Each flower consists of 60-80 petals applied individually. Sugar-paste ribbons and bows decorate each tier. Piped royal icing dots detail between the two boards. Satin ribbon trims the bottom board. The sharp edges, color and design give this cake an elegant and tailored look.
Pink White Chocolate Roses
Three tier wedding cake (12”x3”, 10”x3, 6”x4”). Valrhona chocolate with vanilla buttercream. Pink fondant airbrushed with glimmer pink in a gradual way from dark to light on each tier. Handcrafted white modeling chocolate roses, rosebuds and leaves. Freehand brushed embroidery as well as freehand drapery techniques were used on this cake.
